Logical Crafting – Guppy Logic Puzzle

Five pirates were each playing Guppy while chatting to each other via Pirate Instant Messenger.  Each pirate was playing a different level, and each pirate had a different minimum patch size.

Determine each pirate's name, the difficulty level he or she was playing, the pattern-type, the number of boards needed to complete the game, and the number of orders filled on each of his/her boards.  For example, if Pirate A was playing level M using the "plain" pattern-type, and initially had 6 scissors, got a double on the first board, then pressed "Get new cloth" to get a second board, and got a bingo on that board, then Pirate A played level M, "plain" pattern-type, used two boards, filling 2 + 4 orders.

CraftingProj: "Huzzah!  I filled all the orders on my first board!"

Orsino: "Wow!  I can't figure out how to get anything larger than a double.  What did you get? Bingo? Donkey? Vegas????"

CraftingProj: "Um.. no... I got a Triple."

Rhodin: "I got a Triple on my first board too!  I couldn't quite manage a Triple on my second board though; I ran out of dye.  Luckily my third board had a lot of yellow, green and orange, and I could use my last two sponges to make a nice large yellow patch for that last order."

1.     If you add the levels of any two pirates, the sum does not match the level of any of the other pirates.

2.     Mat's level is the sum of the levels of the player who had the largest amount of starting dye, the player who got two doubles, and the player who had the largest number of tiles per order. (Note: four different players are mentioned.)

3.     Exactly three of the pirates filled orders for orange cloth; they each used a different pattern-type.

4.     The only pirate to get a Vegas was playing a level that is the sum of the levels of the two pirates who used the "plain" pattern-type and the player who had the smallest amount of starting dye.  (Note: four different players are mentioned.)

5.     Two pirates each saw a "Bingo!" flash on their final boards.  One was PeglegPaul, and the other was the only pirate to use the "letters" pattern type.  Of these two, one continued his combo chain to make an even higher combo, but the other had filled all his/her orders.

6.     The pirate who took the largest number of boards (4) had the largest amount of starting sponges.

7.     The only two pirates who used the same number of boards each got a double on the first board.

8.     Each pirate managed to fill all the orders, eventually.  Only one pirate clicked "Get new cloth" without filling any order for the current board, but he did it more than once.
